A very warm welcome to the website of the Stockton & District Model Railway Club. We are a small but long established model railway club and presently have around 15 members of varying ages from 14 to 80 years. We have two reasonably large finescale club layouts in gauges O & OO which are based on North Eastern designs in the 1950's/60's era. These will allow members to run conventionally controlled trains from the more modern 'ready to run' stock to kit built or scratch built designs. We welcome any potential new members who have an interest in the hobby whether it's just to come along for a 'chinwag' or to get involved with building or improving the layouts. We do like to exhibit our layouts once they are up to the correct standard and we encourage our members to participate in these activities. Our present members are of varying degrees of interest, knowledge and competency, and actively pass on their skills to 'interested' members, with the hope we can keep our interesting hobby going for many years to come.
